Britt

Oh Britt… My have you challenged me. Britt has quite the long story, however, I can make it very short. Britt’s breeder was kind enough to give me the opportunity to show Britt in conformation. I was a junior handler at the time, and my current dog finished his championship SO quickly, that I didn’t have a dog to show in the classes. Britt filled that void for me, and we quickly finished her championship. After about 2 years of showing Britt, Ellen (her breeder), kindly gave her to me.

Britt is what I like to call a “Golden Retriever Aussie”. She knows no strangers and has the most even temperament of any dog that I have owned. However, she is not the brightest bulb on the tree. Her nickname is “The Blonde Cheerleader”, because she is beautiful and… well.. quite blonde. She provides daily laughs with her silly, blonde, antics.

Britt liked agility, loved rally, and had no desire to play Barn Hunt. She was slightly interested in sheep and can’t swim to save her life. She loves to be groomed, find turtles in the fields, and let little kids play agility with her. Her best trick is “Thriller” (sit pretty). She is a little piggy when it comes to her treats! She will steal every other dog’s chew bones and put them on HER bed.

She is a beautiful model, and photographers have requested her presence for photo shoots.

Britt’s perfect world would consist of balls to chase (but not retrieve), lots of pets, daily grooming sessions, and all of the food that she could eat. She’s an extremely simple little creature who just wants love and pets. So, she gets love and pets.
